Managers are finishing their performance rating and providing 60-90 day "improve or be laid off" plans. Ive heard about 8% will get that rating, but no severance this time if they dont make it. Apply elsewhere and believe things can get better, outside the toxic environment this has created.

I have seen things you people would not believe. Chipping out the exhaust of pumps into my APR to get them running to make Q time. B-52 CS scrubber explode in front of me and fill my lungs with HBR gas. I have seen friends covered in tungsten sludge from Masonix scrubbers. Speaking from experience...if you do not want to leave the valley, I recommend staying out at micron and putting up with the BS as there are not many options in or around Boise. If jumping from job to job for a few years is what you want than leave. That is unless you want to go back to school and change your trade.

Micron needs to make a decision. Are you an American company that can pay American wages... As an American who worked for that company who left. After working there for nine years chasing $30/ hour I quit. Now I make $33.20/ hour with a much smaller achievable work load. I work in an area with %40 lower cost of living and make much more money. It is time to quit. Any company in this economy that is trying to threaten employees with lay offs will not get any American employees. Micron is a sweatshop... A racist sweatshop...
They are cutting heads in US so they can hire in their home country
