Has anyone seen anything actually change as part of the "transformation"?

This new vendor payment initiative only started in the last 4-6 weeks, therefore, the field likely aren’t seeing it filter through yet from manufacturing, but it is coming.
It doesn't have to be your vendor to cause disruptions, manufacturing has been put on hold and it trickles down to the field locations. I haven't talked to anyone in any division that hasn't had this problem. Maybe you aren't a field guy and in a non revenue generating transformation position that doesn't realize how the business works.
Our vendors are up to date and only 2 put us on stop when chapter 11 got announced. If you have good staff managing your vendors and invoice approvals there is no reason for them not getting paid now. The money is there and the plants are under pressure to clear the parts through QC and then get the invoices cleared ASAP to keep the payments flowing. Sounds like some of the locations have incompetent staff, hopefully they get shut down and stop draining the locations with capable staff left in them.
Vendors on hold😀. The vendors are gone at our shop. Invoices from the first of the year still not paid. Purchase orders take weeks to get approved if at all. No one to do the work. Oh what work. Closing locations down with no sense of direction or reason other then to show that they are doing something to consolidate over all costs. Forcing people to do jobs that they have no business doing. It’s a sh– show that will end eventually but when is the question. All who have stuck it out there is zero appreciation. All the good ones gone BS. I know plenty of good people and they what it to succeed.
Haven’t had a vendor put us on stop in 6 months 🤣🤣🤣. I was born at night but not last night pal.
Unless your only vendor is Dominoes I have no idea what your referring to. As far as I know most locations face same issue, everyone is afraid to give credit. We buy what we can on p-card.
Whilst I sympathise with a lot of the comments i have to point out that the debt that ultimately bankrupted the company was ran up because of a lack of control? Does no one see that? Or does no one want to see it? Happy to whine about the good old days whilst not recognising that the good old days k–led the company. We haven’t had a vendor put us on stop for 6 months in my business, there are no longer payment holds, if the invoice is cleared the vendor gets paid. Don’t believe all the negatives on here, some of them sound like they don’t even work for the company, or if they do they don’t have a clue.
Is it any surprise. The present CEO and COO are id–ts. Who would have a goofball like Dean Bell running a part of a company. Not to mention the other dumb a$$ Managers that this place has kept. The good ones left long ago.
Yes for sure I have seen it. We no longer redress equipment cause we can’t buy spare parts as all vendors have cut us off. How the [email protected] are we supposed to do business?
Weatherford has transformed from a barely solvent company into a bankruptcy basket case. That’s the only transformation I have seen
Yes we’ve transformed from bad to worse, if that was actually possible. Also the bonus payments to management and sales have transformed from big to humongous.
Correction...."this is the "new wft" that cant bill out all the foulups.
This is a result of centralized management. The location managers are closely supervised by district and area managers who are closely managed by area vp's. Then of course you have roving "salesman" that do nothing but get in the way and annoy company reps and workers. The old wft is gone this is the new wft that bill out all the foulups
Yes, i have seen my workload increase, my efficiency decline, our positive attitudes have suffered. So far the transformation has made many field level employees become disconnected from the job and the culture has become toxic. They have made the simplest task harder with too many approval levels to complete anything. As a result we have turned down more work since we have policied and procedured ourselves out of a job. At times i feel we catch more c-ap when we do succeed with the obstacles they have put in front of us.
