Does anyone know if train crews will be cut at North Platte? I hired out there a year ago and I’m getting nervous so I’ve started looking for jobs out of state even though I like my current job I’m just getting nervous about job cuts. I remember one car man that really knew how to pick up the pace. he did the air test from the carman's shanty. you could hear the football game on tv playing in the background when he talked on the radio. "I'm showing 90 pounds on the rear set them up." oh ok well we haven't coupled up and cut in the air yet and it's not on ground air either so that's amazing but give us a second. the transportation managers loved that guy.
NLR best on the system? 25 yrs ago there were 1100 mechanical employees there. Now how many? Huh? Less than 300? I guess you have to protect what you got.
Nlr yard is the best on the system. We work and get it done so far they have left us alone. The mechanical department seems to have been left alone too, hopefully that continues now that everyone is working and showing productivity.

They have no traffic just like everyone else. Keep getting g rid of customers and only offering premium service (more expensive and on up schedule) doesn’t work. Look around. The up is dying
