Agreed. Rally meeting they're still committed to dsd. I agree that dsd will be ending but it seems like not this year. If no announcement is made soon we're definitely staying in dsd this year. It wouldn't make sense to exit at the holidays. Keebler exited in July 2017 and we're giving notice in February. Mu guess is nabisco won't be so kind. So if we're exiting in July we should know in April. Good luck everyone
Nothing will happen this year for sure. It’s coming don’t get me wrong but not for at least and there year.
That's like saying because we paid our phone bill, fuel bill, and made payroll this week the new DSD is here for eternity.

Dont know why Canada is even mentioned in this thread. DsD was eliminated up here years ago.
They told us at our meeting that order write days have been reduced starting in April and all routes are having their mods redone. Nothing about removing one territory. Stores that get 2 orders a week will be written on same day and stores with 3 deliveries are cut to 2 order write days. Blind order writes inc.
He didn't go into much detail. Just said that 1 territory would be eliminated from our team and no layoffs would occur. Everything is fine he said. No need to worry
OK, so tell me. Why is 1 route per team being eliminated? What kind of route, delivery driver route? Is WM going through their own warehouse so we need to adjust the routes? If so, that wouldn't be a minor adjustment. More like the beginning of the end. Tell us.

On April 1st I guess we'll find out, because all merit raises take place on April 1st. If we don't get a raise, that will be a huge red flag, if we do, I have no idea what to think...

Of course Mondelez is still hiring! They will keep hiring till DSD ends! It’s more important now, than ever, to have a full team! Merchandising support will be especially key, they will need lots of extras as they lose people! How those things work! Dates may be off, but doesn’t change things...DSD is ending!

Bottom line is DC or any other person won’t be told to the end! How things get leaked and they need us (remember how valued we are) till the end! Then, we won’t be valued anymore!

Part of the reason some people do not think DSD is ending is because dates get put out there, and they come and go, and nothing happens. So where did you get those dates?

Actually the announcement is coming on April 17th and last day will be around July 17th
Also no merit raises given out this year. They're committed to cutting waste and dsd is part of the waste. Good luck all!!
The point of rally meetings, even though we know DSD is ending, is to retain employees and attempt to maintain some type of morale!
The point is to retain employees until the day DSD ends! Moral at Mondelez is at an all time low! Used to so much different! Weekenders were always something to look forward to, now my boss begs me to go, and I still don’t. Enough alcohol to get the whole state of California tipsy!
Management likes to use this day to hear themselves talk, make themselves feel important, and pretend to care about it’s employees. Out leadership goes to happy hour afterwards and “laughs at us”, like they have us fooled?
