Is Lowes doing away with full time employees?

I am concerned. Need 3 more years to retire. Is Lowes doing away with full time employees?

As I recall when I worked in the store, full-time meant you had at least 32 hours per week. You're not guaranteed 40 hours as a full-time employee. Hourly employees who are required to work on a holiday will receive holiday pay plus regular pay for the holiday; salaried employees who work on a holiday will be given another day off with pay. All regular full-time employees after 89 days of continuous employment. They're spending this year getting as many as possible to leave willingly next year we'll see more layoffs and by the end of 2020 that trained monkey will have us to about the 90/10 mix

Many are going to be gone late october thru early november. If you are paid more than $15 an hour watch your back. Attrition will take care of the rest of the full timers needed to get the FT/PT ratio. I've heard from a reliable source Home Depot is going to be 90PT/10FT for non-management employees by end of 2020, so if the goal is to copy Home Depot that will be done at Lowes as well.
