Other stores are hiring for the holiday seasons. Most stores are slated to close mid-December. By that time, all retail stores have already hired their employees. Good luck finding work in January and February.

@2zoi. Applying for another job takes effort, why if I work at Target, I might have to work overnight stocking merchandise, or weekends. I can’t go out of my comfort zone.

If you are that concerned about when the next round of closures is you should probably be looking for a new job asap. We all know the company can fold at any time without warning. That's what they did with our Sears store.
Our store is getting rid of 40% of tools starting today with a blowout sale. And I just found out from my manager that Norditrack is no longer doing business with us. Only Pro Form from now on. And our toys section is leaving, as well. We are starting with 25% off and gradually increasing the percentage.
Things are sure looking great...
