As a 10 year Pse i have to wonder...we have followed Depot on everything under Marvelous Marvin and racist Joe...why stop now. Paul Wyman was their boy they brought over from Depot after Marvin spun a tale about good ole boy system being over, to run exteriors....and now I’ve heard they have moved him...hmmm

Marvin came from HD. He is taking all this from the HD playbook and it will benefit his pocket. That's what CEO's care about.....themselves!
As a fellow PSE of 7 years in position, I too am worried about my job. I started looking into this whole IME thing, and it's scary. BJ's and Floor and Decor is using it, and I'm sure there are others too. I think Lowe's will lose lots of profit dollars if they go this route, but what do I know. It's already devastating that we are losing HVAC as a category. But at least we have a job....for now!

The Menard family became billionaires, without offering installation services. They never competed against their core customer base.
Lowe's is chit. They never properly set up from the beginning the psi or PSE programs.
Then never supported any of it with resources of any kind.
Lowe's corporate and management are complete chit.
I’ve never worked in a system where someone Lin sales had ZERO accountability for follow up. Yes it makes sense there is a support team behind the “specialist” however when they don’t know enough about a project to follow up. The specialist rarely steps in to ensure the project was completed. I had a neighbor that spent over 1 year trying to get 3 windows installed correctly. I’m embarrassed to refer any person to that PSE. ASM’s ignored the requests, installed sales ignored the neighbors requests and the store manager just delegated the task to the same people over and over. It was finally fixed by a relatively new millworks associate. Needless to say the neighbor bashes Lowe’s every chance she gets.
I hope it is, because I have been passed over for the last time, while they hire, yet another, mindless twit who sold time shares. She will last about two months before she runs out screaming.
Hope so. Then we won’t have to listen to them cry about their commissions being screwed up while the rest of the associates serve customers without commissions.
