I don't really care if the store pats me on the back or not, it feels good to help people

The problem is they are hijacking my innate caring about other people. I like knowing enough and being empowered enough to help people for example. I don't really care if the store pats me on the back or not, it feels good to help people. If the shelves aren't stocked and the floor isn't swept, I feel embarrassed. And working hard could, at least at first blush, help mitigate that.

So when that bell goes off and I'm already helping someone, sure part of me thinks the hell with the managers who took away my coverage, but also part of me feels bad for not being able to be in both places at once. It's like an abusive relationship. They cause the problems and get normal empathetic people to feel like it's their fault.

I enjoy helping respectful and courteous customers. It’s the entitled ones (mainly baby boomers) that I despise. They act as if we are their servants and the second something is less than perfect, they flip out.
A reminder for the boomers, the world does not revolve around you. I get that you were handed well paying jobs (no education required, cheap schooling, cheap housing, retirement, etc... but that does not mean you are entitled to treat others like trash.

Retail will truly be a better place when boomers are no longer around.

lowes steals a lot from us. integrity, honesty, and anything of good work ethic. slowly, repeatedly, they try and wear you down with lies and bs.

lp should be watching unethical management however they protect corrupt sm's and management.

lowes system is chit. always has been always will. the system is broken and not 1 million marvins can fix it because hes too stupid.

no philosophy, no guiding principles. just rhetoric, lies, and dysentary of the mouth.
