False smiles and fake sentiment come to Dublin today and another panel of weak management will dance to Charlies tune. Then Charlie will deliver a mind numbing talk before answering filtered and prepared questions. Tip for Charlie to save money..... do away with all this bullsh#t.

Looked at the recording today. So poor from Ireland. The lady asking the questions seemed nice but how embarrassing. Very little business awareness and no sentiment for employees. Senior management in Ireland should be ashamed of themselves.
The Irish management structure is a shambles, there is a large number of them and I have no clue what they do, they never interact with the employees, just bully them into submission
Was there too. Bit of a whitewash, as usual. Lots of hollow sentiment and arse-licking. The sad thing is, I don’t think CS and co would mind a few tough questions. God knows they get plenty from shareholders etc I’m sure. But nobody wants to be that guy/girl who asks about (for example) working from home, because there is a fear that their manager on the ground in Dublin would hold it against them. It’s all a case of “let’s not rock the boat here”, and until that changes these events will continue to be a total waste of time & a window-dressing exercise.
Who the hell was that person asking the questions? She was so embarrassing even the panel were cringing at her. Totally irrelevent town hall. It is clear they only interested in client revenue and no vested interest in employees. But most dissapointing was the pre planted questions. Leadership in Ireland are very weak and should be ashamed to run an event without incorporating enployee sentiment and concerns. The panel knew that too. Zero maturity from leadership team.... sad day for BNY Ireland.
Why do you to do overtime - BE or meet expectation is the norm, why do more? I do what I receive, I worked very hard in the past till I got meet, now I'm giving what they want from me: meet expectation, nothing more.
What a big happy family and what a difference when we come to the office every day... I can hardly manage with the overtime I'm doing but I got it: they can because they are special.
I was there - the questions and all answers... can they make it more relevant please? I'm not waiting on everybody telling me about their grandma. I would want to hear about ongoing projects, new client wins and losses, ERGs and most important relocations and cost reductions - that is relevant to me and probably also the company. Don't get me wrong, family is important but still, it was a waste of my time and honestly even I felt awkward about the complacency of the moderator and Irish leadership team.
The worst hour imaginable, very weak management, stupid questions, no fear they would comment on the actual factors impacting staff such as forced ranking, zero morale and the bullying taking place in the Dublin offices
Could not agree more
What a waste of time, buzz words of journey, diversity, inspired, no plan though
