I plan to come home and walk my dog. Eat lunch with my husband. Do some outdoor work. Hang out with the kids when they get home. Make sure they do their homework. Make a nice cheese plate for dinner, paired with a bottle of wine. Maybe take the dog for another stroll. Any plans?

Best way to recover after a layoff is to get laid everyday for the next 7 days. You will feel refreshed and ready after that. A great way to spend your severance package.
Well It's 1223am, here is today's list:
Coffee shop to get my cappuccino with 3 espresso shots (checked).
Gym (checked)
Dinner with my teenage son (checked)
A fine maduro Dominican cigar and a beverage in my patio (in progress).
The sun will come out in a few hours, I feel alive and relieved.

I called my husband and a friend. Been spacing out all day and going through a ton of different emotions. I am sleeping in tomorrow!
Have a steak dinner with some good wine. Plan a long vacation then look for another job. Life goes on. Thank Schwab for the big bonus on the way out.
Lots of alcohol but it’s also time to move on.
Hug my wife, my kids, my dog, have a beer, go hiking.
Losing a job is terrible, but life goes on.
Beer. Run. Some more beer. Run a little more. Hit indeed and dice to explore options.
Beer, p–n, cry. Probably in that order

I’ve been eating and sleeping bad this week. It will be good to either establish a new routine or go back to the old routine.
That’s a good idea, @116bDMrZ-evw
I’m going to the gym after work today regardless what happens. My eating has gone to the c-apper the last couple of days from the stress.
Honestly? A nice, long nap.
