I work there and i have seen it with my own eyes. They dont care about their employees. They make that painfully clear every day. They keep outsourcing and laying off people, yet the work remains the same and their employees have become burnt out. Everyone is stressed due to increased workload and pressure. This was once a fine company but this place has become a brutal, hostile work environment.

A dear friend of mine was let go. He said that it was a great job once but they hire the worst possible people managers known to mankind. They promote these awful vengeful people and let the people who loved their jobs go. Makes absolutely no sense at all. It’s only taken him 2 days to realize that he is free from that hell now. His health was declining but he’s getting that twinkle back. Seems Schwab literally was s—king the life out of him. He’s SO much better off and for that I have to say thank you bad people
managers for setting him free. Just not sure how they sleep at night.
People I know that work at Schwab were hoping to get laid off. The job s—s. You’re just a number and no one cares about you. Hindsight is 20/20 but I’d never have taken this job if given a redo.
I feel so bad for all the people that were let go. I had intended to transfer part of a 7 figure portfolio that I have with Vanguard to open a Schwab account but after reading these comments. I feel that Schwab can’t take care of its own business so why would I trust them to take care of mine? I can’t.

They may not agree entirely but management listened and could still influence decisions. The decline rapidly escalated with the amount of turnover since at all levels of management.
its not just schwab , its all big companies anymore , the only thing that matters is to make more money this year than last year
