Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Employee Option Survey

From my understanding the Employee Option Survey (EOS) in coming out in October. I am honestly excited to see the results. I am going to bash the company so bad because they are really destroying the company. Just remember to not bash your supervisor, unless they really deserve it, because most are doing the best they can with what they have. They are all stressed and frustrated like all of us. May the odds be ever in your favor!

The Eos survey was on the main site with a date, and it was removed as over last week. Who knows even it we will have it this year.

Last one I took before I left lowest I spelled out all the issues and problems I saw from my position. one or two words for each. Then I put in the Market Director’s name as the source of all. After I left they demoted our store manager. Guessing they didn’t understand my message.

The best thing you can do is select middle. Not at extreme ends of spectrum.

Ad Lowe';s even set it up where the douche bags like H.R. and management get bonuses for "participation". The more employees that take it, the better management looks.

Its a waste of time. Last couple years with all the roll outs - no installed sales of dept managers, CPO, XPO, etc...- they expected very bad EOS results and never even posted them or talked about them.

Corporate knows and store management are well aware how bad it is. EOS is posturing, to posture as if they give A.F.! They dont.

Best thing anyone can do, is leave. And until you do, do as little as possible. Posture like your superiors do. Talk about what you are going to do, then dont do any of it like they do. They have proven talk is more important than the "doing".

The last survey our store scored so low they didn’t even post the results. One of our ASMs told us that we had a 49 overall and that Lowe’s was blaming that on the loss of our well liked store manager (he was not well liked). New manager is useless, just hides out in his office to avoid confrontation. Several times we’ve had customers asking to speak with him and he’s wanted to know “are they angry?” He only want to talk to nice customers.

You are not tracked. At all. Period. Rip them a new a—hole.....BUT don’t put any thing in there that would identify you directly. Some people are not so smart that they will write stuff that specifically identifies them. Do not hold your opinion back, just be specific in how you do it.

Also I am a former HRM. I know you aren’t tracked for a fact, but its how you say something that causes people to “get caught”. Be genuine and honest. If your upset, say so.

Unless they change the format/questions, the *Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) always asks questions about your direct supervisor.

If I have to log in under my employee number, I will not do it.
