Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Happy Holiday Rifs

traditionally aig likes to ring in the holiday season with rifs across the company. it seems that q4 will coincide with mckinsey recommendation timelines so I would expect the same this year.

you are fired, but merry Christmas. love, bd

My department lost a Manager 2 weeks before Christmas. I bet Senior Management felt good because they saved the company a few weeks of pay in 2018

So I am not sure why you are doing 3 jobs. I would have thought you would have learned that they will take, take, take and they do not care about youuuuuuuuuu. do as little as you can, do some jobs two or three times, take a long lunch, bathroom breaks and walk the halls. Do a work slowdown.

The economy will change in the next year. I don't know if waiting for a future RIF is worth it.

I am not on pins and needles. I jus don’t want to give them the satisfaction of quitting. I can sit near and take up space until I get a severance.

Why wait on pins and needles for a RIF? There are plenty of jobs available.

Whatever, man.

Getting RIFd would be the best holiday I've had since I started at this mole-monkey factory
