Why don't self checkouts take cash?

Just wondering. Walmart self checkouts take cash, why don't Sam's Club?

The front end leads are not able to do the business office correctly. The place is an absolute mess!

They didn't think that far ahead. They got so excited for coming up with someone else's idea that they forgot about cash paying members. That sounds about right to me.

That's why got rid of business office.. without cash and checks there's not much to do in there now and the front end leads can do what's needed in there now

Short and sweet is because the people that run this company have no clue what they are doing. The "Yes man" goes down the entire chain.
Our front end was all redone a few weeks the ago with all new self check outs that surprise surprise were the same self check outs that they replaced.
Why replace all the older self check outs with the same self check outs is beyond me. It's a waste of money!!! They should have put in self check outs that take credit/cash (Walmart has them why don't we?!) And normal registers should have had the option to simple turn them into self checks when there are not enough cashier's

So they can have an extra angle to get the members to apply for credit.
