Are they getting rid of both of these managers? One of ours moved to fresh and I’ve been hearing the other one will be losing their position, any one know anything about this?

Wow some of you are so off. There are two Member/Specialty Managers. The titles changed back in June. They split the responsibilities of the front end, and the specialty areas such as Gas, TBC, Maintanence & Marketing.
Compliance is the responsibility of all managers however the one that over sees it is the Merchandise/Compliance Manager.
Yes we will probably downsize by one Member/Specialty Manager in February. Until then we will work through attrition. So if your club only has 5 managers in place do not expect them to hire a 6 at this time. The clubs that are hiring managers at the moment have 4 or less.
The speciality manager does the compliance / has waste / AP side of things then they split scheduling responsibilities with the experience manager who usually does the workday stuff.

We have two member team managers: Member experience and member specialty. I don't know what the specialty manager's responsibilities are
Will the marketing team lead get a raise if they change their title38
If you mean Member Experience Manager the position is a combination of two old manager codes. Member Service Manager and the Marketing Manager.
That is why there is no longer a Member Service Team Lead and all the the MSS were converted to MSL. The Marketing Team Lead will more than likely be re-coded to Member Experience Team Lead and continue to perform whatever job functions they are currently doing at this time.
Since I can't get straight, truthful answers elsewhere, what is the Member Specialty manager in charge of at this point?
@qnc you just called yourself out. Nobody gets trained at Sam's Club. Good one though. Trained better.... 🤣🤣🤣 You mean trained never.
Maybe the 18 a hour leads can't handle it at your store. But our store does fine without having to call management out to the floor when there is an issue we do just fine. Maybe we were just trained better. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
@mar This is the Home Office making all these mo–nic decisions over the past many years. (If you're not aware of them, then emerge from under your rock every now and then.) Of which none of the Executives has ever set foot in a Sam's (other than than judge and criticize the leadership and associates) to really understand how a Sam's Club works.
All the decisions the Home Office makes are to improve the bottom line, not to make CMs or associates' lives better. So I would not be surprised in the least if this new change comes to pass.
Troll there’s no way in hell they’d get rid of both. There’s no way that these 18 a hour could handle it on their own.
