If the agreement is declined, would the employee receive severance?

Absolutely. It’s funny to see the posts from HR monitors and then manipulation of likes to dislikes. From the fluff jobs I see on intranet “What Does a do?” There is prob a designated media crawler who looks for negative feedback or dissent.

All these changes would go away with a UNION. Is that code or do you need me to explain what that big word is.

Careful what you say on the inter/intranets and social media. Remember to document, document, document all communications & correspondences received from the company. And, lawyer up.

Also consider the 1 week pay delay coming in January - breach of contract issue when the actual pay we receive in 2020 is less than what the comp statement outlines. Pretty sure the company used the feedback in our comments on intranet when that announcement came out when deciding to send this arb agreement so no one can sue when Allstate becomes in breach of contract w/ the withheld pay. I am also concerned about the coming RIF. I'm sure that was also a factor.

The rumor may not be a rumor anymore, but this piece of information doesn't seem big enough to warrant the signing of the disclaimer. This feels like just the beginning.

So the rumor about PTO is no longer a rumor.

This doesn’t seem fishy at all. I guess they don’t want a repeat of what happened in California.

Transparency is a key Allstate value remember? Also, don’t forget to treat the employee as you want the customer treated! The values the company continues to emphasize aren’t ever followed by the company themselves.

Rumor has it that PTO days will be lowered in 2020. Rumor has it that the severance package they are giving now will not be as good in 2020. Allstate is preparing for law suites.

I’m not so concerned about what they’re doing. Rather, it’s the sense of urgency that’s alarming me. Had they targeted the end of 2020, I would not have given it a second thought.

Mass reduction in force to hubs with no severance?

Who knows but remember: Transparency is a corporate value! Then how come C-Level exec hypocrites in HO follow mushroom theory of employee management?

Allstate is All hot air.

Of course they will pay attorney fees. Who do you think their attorneys will side with? How stupid do they think we are?? Seriously though. What is coming that they need to guard themselves from us like this?? Anyone with a serious answer is welcomed to answer!

LOL...

“ In rare instances, disputes may occur between an employee and their employer.”

Although rare, if you don’t quickly agree, you’ll be fired by 12/2.
