I hear that cheese biscuits will be back Q1. This will make a lot of people quit that can’t handle it.
Maybe we'll reach a point where Home Office runs out of things to outsource and just outsources itself. They're reading this right now thinking, "Hmmm.....what a great idea!" I know I'm being ridiculous. But I really have no choice. At this point, it's conceivable that they'll consider outsourcing practically anything as long as someone figures it will save them money and shed more personnel. I mean, c'mon, who really needs all these people? The upside is they can do things that need to be done but, f—, the fact we have to pay them.....that can't be tolerated. We must find a way to reach a point when we no longer have to pay anyone and all our stores will operate automatically. Their most vivid, spine-tingling, wet dream, is not have any employees at all. Imagine that....thousands of stores selling billions of products and virtually zero payroll or benefits. The buildings will maintain themselves, stock themselves....that's gotta be like some kind of utopia for these greedy b–tards.

Have you heard of Project Harvest? That was an ISD (Home Office IT) initiative to break up all the individual teams and create 3 huge teams of support, development and customer planning. It was a total $#!t storm. It took about 10 years for ISD to go back to the individual teams. No one apologized for that dumpster fire.
Walmart is supposed to have a fail-fast policy. This was an admit nothing, no-apology, let's create a toxic environment fail agonizingly slow. After Project Harvest was implemented the business could not get anything done due to the red tape. They budgeted for and hired their own IT department to get their projects done known as the Shadow IT.
More digital improvements that are actually backwards progress.

No matter whats going to happen, you can bet you will never get a straight answer from your manager. Especially before anything is stupid to happen.
