My opinion on where sams club is going so wrong is the fact they are treating each club as the same. They are wanting all clubs to be just a like and well that is just not smart. Sure in big cities u have a lot of members that are young and know how to use smart phones and computers. However u have a lot of clubs in smaller towns that most members are older and they may can use a smart phone but they will tell u they are not checking themselves out and I know they won't do there own return or membership. And trying to force them to will only cause them to cancel and then the store will end up closing. Just like this c-ap some stores won't open until 9 for plus and 10 for basic memberships. Psssh u know that isn't gonna work why pay 100 dollars to only come in hour early. Yeah u get other benefits but a lot of members just want to come early to avoid the crowd. The smart thing to do would have been go into each club and see what works for that club. But we all know that would be way to much work for home office people and they don't really care about their employees so it's here u go just do it. Oh well I guess that is why they have billions and all the people who helped make that billion for them make nothing. Everyone knows they can afford to pay their employees well they choose not to. I don't know about anyone else but I say keep ur stupid vest and not everyone is having a baby for ur stupid ever how many weeks u get. Not everyone is adopting a kid to get the 5000 dollars to help. But u know what everybody even the ones that are having babies adopting or school they are trying to pay bills and live week to week and ur starting pay just won't do it. If target can pay more then what does they say about Walmart or sams club. It says the top people are greedy and one day will fall on their face. Well probably not because we already made them enough to live on for the next 5 generations and more. But it really does not make them look good. If they treated there workers right And paid them well can u imagine how much money they would make because people would be happy to work there. Anyways just my opinion not like they care or anyone else does either. Rant over everyone have blessed day and pray one day they will see how wrong they are and things will change.

It is sad. And no, every club is not the same and should not be the "cookie cutter" image of each other. Why Sam's is so inconsistent.
As for their membership costs they keep screwing over members. Charging them then changing the rules of the game on them. Members just get straight consistency with Costco. Sam's keeps changing things up for no good reason too much and many times with out thinking. Someone wants to come up with "their" "wonderful" idea and implement it all over, then they realize it doesn't work for all locations. But that's what ego does. RGM's & MM thrive off only their ego so they could care less about what our members or associates think.
