Delayed severance

Just an FYI, you will not get your severance payment until 3-4 payroll cycles......

Is this true???

I was told 5-8 weeks to get my severance due to "processing time" I am SPREADING THAT...and everyone who hears it says "SCUMBAG company" but hey, Wichman can use the interest made on our delayed severance payout to buy himself a gold golfball.

I got my severance in the time frame of two pay checks after my release date. I ended up with 3 checks that day. One for my left over PTO. One for the 2 days I worked in the pay period and the last for the actual Severance. Now I did fax my completed severance paper work back to HR Direct on the date of my let go so I think that helped speed everything up.

My severance was paid out two pay periods after submission of severence package and ONLY 40 hours PTO paid out regardless of how much additional was accrued

PTO depends on your state's labor laws. Check the severance documentation on HubConnect. If you state doesn't require PTO to be paid out, you can apply 40 hours to your severance.

Does anyone know how carried over pro works? Say for instance we have 40 hours we have earned and have been carrying over do you get it as a payout or is it just gone.
