Every store this company operates, whether it's a Sam's or a Walmart, or whatever, has posters decorating some area in back, of Sam Walton in all his former folksy glory, along with quotes, and other pointless drivel from what is obviously now a bygone era. It's time to take down and remove every single reference to the man himself. That the company continues to acknowledge him or his legacy in any way, is disingenuous on a laughable level. The disconnect happened a long time ago and for them to perpetuate the lie that they are somehow carrying on as he would have, is like them stating they believe the Loch Ness Monster is real and shops at Asda every Tuesday afternoon. If Sam Walton were alive today, Carl Icahn, or some other corporate raider, would have had him removed from the board and relegated to the sidelines. It's time to bury the whole, "Mr. Sam", b—s—. This company has absolutely nothing to do with Sam Walton anymore. They've made a fictional character out of him, like KFC has done with Colonel Sanders, but without the commercials. He's basically used as a method of brainwashing new employees into thinking this is Grandpa's company and we're here to continue to do him proud. What a bunch of poppycock.

We have a Sam who thinks it is their club that they share with their besties.
Truth in advertising is starting to prevail, tho. Walmart changed their logo to look just like a butte whole a few years back. And the folks from Bentonville do their part to make the logo fit. Maybe Sam's should adopt Mr. Hankey from South Park as their new logo?
Sam's Club should be renamed to one of it's older memberships.
