Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Membership desk changes??

What are all these supposed changes? From what I have seen and also heard layouts and processes are not the same almost anywhere. These changes are not going to make sense EVERYwhere. Plus, some won't follow parts of it anyway. It is the whole, "that doesn't apply to us" or "we can make adjustments to fit our needs" mantra.
I'll believe it when I see it. Then I will doubt its duration like many other things.

This is the very reason some of those high ups at home office should have to go to sams stores and work for a month and get a taste of how stupid some of their ideas are. If they would get up and actually do some real work then they would see what works what doesn't then go back to there big round table and actually so something productive and works like things should.

It is what @2qeq said. That’s what happened with us. The Clubs are told when it will happen, Market comes in overnight to get it changed out and that’s it. No input is requested from the Club.

Clubs have no say in this. Club planning will come in and make the changes. One register, one phone, 3-4 iPads That's it. No SMART thin client. No shredder. According to the picture. Clubs with photo centers will be taking that space as all photo centers are scheduled to close. Club's without photo already are TBD on location. It's an island design that will have you and the member side-by-side.
