Club pick up

I think it’s funny how home office keeps coming up with these dumb ideas for club pick up. WE ARE NOT WALMART. 80 cases of coke will not fit on that black rolling think and will not fit in the blue basket. Now they want us to use the thank you bags. Some of are orders want even fit on flat beds. Need to make it easier not harder. Come in and ask us .

The higher ups in this company sit around a boardroom and think of ridiculous ideas to implement.
They then take turns patting each other on the back for said "great idea!"

Haven't heard about using grocery bags. Totally agree the blue bins are stupid. We have to handle one order three times now to move everything to the bins since we aren't allowed to use the dolly to pull orders. Also since we went to day stocking we spend so much time looking for merchandise in the steel since there are so many holes on the floor. That's if the merchandise isnt buried in receiving or still on a DC trailer that hasn't been unloaded yet. Don't get me started on CIM it's a joke.

The problem begins with market and regional leaders. They are so concerned with being arrogant making sure that their underlings are stroking their egos that nobody steps back to look at the big picture anymore. Tours are all about berating club level staff over asinine things that don't really mean anything and the end result is a demoralized staff that is no longer concerned with providing the member with a quality shopping experience because they are too busy working on their "to do" list and taking pictures for the market and/or regional manager.

Let's have a real open door policy. Eliminate all middle management.

those blue bins are ridiculous...who in the heck thought up this brilliant idea? It take more time because you have to take everything out of plastic bins and place them in cardboard boxes. Stupid.

I pulled an order two days ago with 6 items on it. There were a total of 120 pieces in all - 76 of which were Capri Sun and Chef Boyardee. There was one item I couldn't find because it was a hole in the run, however they showed we had it in the steel. Knowing the club doesn't utilize CIM practically ever, I knew there was a chance it wasn't going to be where the TC-70 said it was, which it wasn't. So, I walked up and down all the aisles in grocery three times and found nothing. Maybe its on one of the DCs or on the dock....Nope. Okay, so then why the f— is it showing that we have it in the club? Turns out that it was still on its way to us but the trailer was held up for three days at the DC for being overweight or whatever and the truck was autoreceived the day before, making it part of our inventory in spite of the fact that it wasn't physically present anywhere on our property....yet!!! I just wasted 20 minutes looking for the f—ing thing and the member is going to be picking it up at 4PM. Our illustrious Home Office are a cracker jack group of f—ers. The operational side of this company is controlled by people who are perpetually one neuron short of a synapse at all times. Natural Selection should have a revolving standing appointment in Bentonville until all the slow kids are removed from the population.

The thing is, they don't care. All home office wants to do is get rid of employees to make up for the wage increases they gave people. If club pick up has problems, so be it.

Desk jockeys are always clueless. Club pick up is a joke now. There isn't a day that goes by that orders aren't messed up in some way. Take yesterday. They piled that flatbed so high, no one could see over it and it was so heavy, it took two grown men to push it. We had to get two more flatbeds and fix the problem. Dumb and Dumber work at home office.
