Are door greeters checking for membership cards again? I know they weren't for awhile. I no longer work at Sam's, just curious.

Tell me about it I was at door today well of course because we never have anyone and within 30 min I was accused of being racist two times and once an older gentleman said you didn't ask that guy for his.. However I did I ask for ever persons card in that walked in. However some had already had there's out and the ones they did not are the ones that assumed I hadn't ask for the others cards. If some of those people at home office would come stand at the door and ask for one day they would get some of the treatment we get because they can't make up there dang mind of they need to show a card or not.
Why do you check cards?

Members are livid, one person walks by says going to eat, while there is a line showing cards::

I had a membership but it expired...can I get in by just flashing the expired card? I have a photo of the back of a family member's card with the bar code so I can shop on her membership.
Of course they went back to checking cards. Everything comes full circle backwards with Sam's. They love screwing with our members and putting our associates in the spot to deal with the aftermath.
