i wouldn't be surprised if the executives themselves weren't making these stupid posts about them coming to town to inflate their ego. who cares? they ain't the getting a police escort or shutting down any roads for them. do people still come to work like normal? ok then nobody cares. cue the sad trombone for Lance and Vena arriving to no welcome party.

Well the carmen may be okay but there's almost 200 on the transportation side who have been cut off.

They cut half of Settegast already. I'm sure a total closing is what they're aiming for so they can sell it and improve their bottom line for the next quarter.

These people are sick, Goal is to see how many people they can cut off TEY, Carman, and Mgmt. Someone stated close Settegast, but from what as been rumoured in New Orleans, is close down Beaumont, make Beaumont a run through and switch the cars out at Settegast. I'm not sure, these people just scratch their xxxxxx and make up c-ap as they please. Bottom line is they are going to cut 2 weeks before thanksgiving. The target price the shareholders want the stock to go to is $220.00 and these dummies are trying i just feel sorry for America when these hedge funds short sale the stock.
The investors are shorting the stock, then Union Pacific is buying it back to keep it from collasping.
Im not sure how true it is, this is not reliable at all, however I heard he was going to tour Strang yard, Lloyd yard and Settegast. Rumor has it contract Lloyd yard to Watco Companies for the autoracks, Contract Strang yard and all its industries, and close down Settegast yard. I'm not saying this is true but its hearsay. While no single comment on this site is any more reliable than any other, how comments trend is fairly reliable, and they trend toward major cuts coming to Houston in the near future. He may be coming to give one of his famous closed door pep-talks to the people who will have the dirty work delegated to them, along with a nod to their damage control strategy (i.e. repeat the word "efficiency as many times as possible and talk up the increased stock value and lower operating ratio).
I was in his presence more than once and I had to chew back vomit every single time.
