Fresenius Kabi USA, Run its over

Fresenius Kabi USA sterile injectable pharmaceuticals sector. Major layoffs happened on the weekend 10/27/19. Cut all contractor workforce 2 weeks prior. Sunday; 1/5 full time workers laid off (Many crying when they were kicked out the front door).

Next layoffs scheduled in the next 2 months. A further 10-20% to be laid off.

Leave if you can no reason to stay worse is to come CEO sent emails to cut roughly 40% of workforce in January 2019. The company has been doing horribly past year. The debt has reached all time high. FDA close to release a 483.

Recession 2019 has begun.

the warn act states that workers are to be given 60 days notice if they layoff 50+workers search google for the Warn Act

Sad for all my friends who rely on this paycheck. Glad I got out. Pharmaceuticals is a messy, dirty, greedy business.

The honestly don't need to layoff anybody else. Turnover is pretty high and no need to give packages.

With a MUPU structure, (PU - production unit) Manufacturing management was never concerned about product quality nor process quality. Even approach to deviations were always reactive. It was always about production numbers. The other side of the equation, (i.e. MU - marketing unit) could never keep up. Demand Forecasting was always off.

This is not a surprise and a long time coming.

I agree the executive management has screwed up the company. I am wondering when we will all get the ax. Turnover is around 50% now. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here it is so frustrating.

This company doesn't have a soul..Completely mismanaged from the top down. Completely unrealistic expectations from the workforce. Turnover is extremely high. Glad I got out when I did..
