Companies are getting hurt for buyouts on wall street. You may be holding your breath for awhile... why buy high when you can wait for companies to go for pennies on the dollar? Best we can hope for is next round of layoffs still pays out. If energy stocks dont improve by march and not enough people leave after bonuses, I bet cuts are not far after and lead into Q2.
There is no buyout coming. You better look for a job or get your a– back to work. Next lay-off won’t have nice severance.
I don’t know about a fat severance, it would have to be a major that buys us out. Majors are not known for big severances.
