Sedgwick has all the answers for you. They work for you and not the company. Give them a call or look on the wire, they will gladly help you. I have had experience with them assisting me with some medical time off and they were great.

Been with company 23 years , have all 192 hours of sick time I guess I will lose which to me and alot of other people at my club are p-ss-d about. And I work full time ,but I plan on retiring before Christmas, I would rather do a LOA than get paid out in my paycheck. Do you get protected pto with a LOA? because I have used almost all of reg. pto. Thanks
There’s 2 different types of LOA. A personal leave will require your gms approval. A family leave, you need documents to prove whoever is sick, is sick. The personal leave you will only get paid if you have pto. The family leave you can use your sick hours but you have to have zero pto hours left. And you can only use 80 hours of it. There’s also military leave and maternal leave which I think is the same.
FT or PT?
Have you been with the company for more than 1 year?
