Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Keep your options open

I applied for some internal jobs but I was honestly so ready to leave. Had my job move or be eliminated three times in my 13 years there. Took my seven months of severance and went to a new company.
Keep your options open. If there's an internal opportunity that appeals go for it. Don't worry about giving up the severance; odds are your new job will be eliminated in the next few years anyway.

I can agree with @11NvW7KZ-byw .Good advice

I hear you loud and clear! 13+ years...I too was ready to go. I was already on a casual search for a few months. They've been hinting at this for 2 years now so I'm gone too. I think alot of the big guys are ready to snatch up whoever has the experience so hopefully it won't be too long for us! Good luck.
