TCU website for Carmen explains what they are prioritizing. https://www.goiam.org/news/territories/tcu-union/contracts-union-resources/2019-national-negotiations/

Smart TD says it will serve its own Section 6 notices early this week, so we will have to wait for the response. As for what the carriers want I wonder how much stuff in there is just to come out strong. One part says no retro pay, when they've always had retro pay. Crew consists is going to come down to what the lawsuit finds.

I read the nrl website but I was hoping for what we asked for as the workers not what the carriers wanted. From what I read there my prediction is 2% yearly raise, conductors are history, health insurance rates will probably double or we will get a tiered system, and a reduction of craft specific work, i.e. carmen linking and doing locomotive checks, electricians and machinists driving trains checking brakes and brake cylinders. Stuff like that.

Truthfully, I think the railroad will tell the unions what they will get and that will be that. “Might as well accept it, it’s the best we can hope for.” was used far too often in the last round and the unions have even less power or willingness to fight with them.
