Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

What the furner?!

Have you worked the new desk? It's a Furner mess. The lines waiting to be served are ridiculous.

People actually walk away. Do you understand? They walked back out the door.

A complicated return can take up to ten minutes. It doesn't happen often, but when it does - wow. And the wait for a key turn!

Only two of us worked the new desk today, because there isn't room to stand. First of the month with a instant savings sale going on. You have to be furner crazy.

You might as well not even have the middle iPad, no one can get to it. One member with six children and a flatbed takes up the entire desk and no one else can get in there. It's was a real furner mess.

Hate this with a passion. Don't care what happens to this store. They want Disney happy, but they furner with you so much, they get apathy.

Our front end manager is NEVER on the front either. He literally does not even know how to use a register. He's been the front end manager for around 8 months now and hasn't attempted to learn a single thing about the front end. He completely relies on the desk associates to fix everything. Our COS's(or what ever they're called now) are all new and dont know any of the policies, have zero clue how to do anything at desk, and all love bragging about making $18-$20 per hour.

Yeah, corporate knows what're they doing!, They want a member to start downloading apps and use it. By members looking at the lines they will not longer bring their returns to the store, they will shop online and returned online, they will not pay with cash, they will pay credits and also will shop scan ang go or self check out. Corporate want a member to get used to not need an associate for what the need, they want to get used to devices.

Yes we don’t have the tools to effectively do our jobs such as another register or 2, a main printer, or a computer to look up receipts on the electronic journal for gas receipts or lost receipts... especially for those who don’t have computers or smart phones to email their receipts... it’s frustrating and not one bit good member service! Ugh!

“legendary customer service” Not at Sam's Club! Not at their, so called, member service desk.

The sign, Member Service, is bigger than the actual desk. lol ok, maybe that's an exaggeration, but not by much. Not really.

Worse business move since New Coke.

All I want to know is what genius inside of corporate America thought that having one register at the desk would work out? Members are waiting in line for a payment for 20 minutes , other members have to wait for a return for another 29 minutes. News flash corporate people, not everyone wants to use online anything and not everyone carries plastic. As a membership based warehouse this whole new self check out and one register at the desk blows because paying members should be given better service. Whatever happened to “legendary customer service”.

Wow, that's a furnercator for you. Special little rosebud can't be bothered to pitch in. It'll come back to bite her in the furner. Wait and see.

Don't stress. We can only wait on one member at a time. If the lines are long, that isn't our fault. It's Furner's. The motto use to be, "The member must win," Now the motto is, "The member must wait."

Get it together Home Office. Technology is a good thing, all of us love tech, but it has to work. Give us back another register!!!

Our store does not have the new desk yet and we have lines almost back to the exit door. It is crazy. we were so busy yesterday and the one lone MSS was overwhelmed. And where was the front end manager? No where to be found, which is so typical. We have 2 front end managers, 1 is wonderful, the other is a drama queen. And God forbid is you ask the one mgr. for help, she makes you feel small and insignificant.
