Announcement coming this week to some clubs meeting a certain metrics for orders.
More than likely the upper 3rd of each market getting one.

My club is a mess only have one pulling in the morning and one come in at 4.30 pm and I leave at 12.30 so no one is pulling orders in between shifts ..managers don’t care ..they only focus on stocking the floor...They don’t care about club pick up...
No one wants the position in our club. The schedule is so bad. You are going to get a bunch of id–ts who just want the pay and have no idea how to run an area in it.
So you know...like the rest of the club.
Honestly I would not get it a guy been there 16 yrs already does click and pull and has a fork lift license. I want to get one nobody will train me. Besides he deserves it. But I wouldn't mind roataing shifts. Its different and but don't get stuck on same thing all time. Most of our orders are mornings though so I don't know how that will work. Like I said no Merchandiser does click and pull except him and I think that what they call him now. But the other guy that pulls in mornings he's just click and pull. That what I don't get why we don't have one in morning and one at night. There always someone there to help both pull orders now it's cart guys before it was membership and cashiers
The Digital Sales Lead as it will be called will be in charge of CPU (the picking part. MSLs will still be in charge of dispensement). Also this position will be in charge of growing Scan n Go as well as a new program rolling out next year called Ship to Home where online orders are picked & shipped from the club instead of the distribution center. The DSL will report to the Merchandising Managers and will be on a 4 week rotating schedule that includes a mix of 4am-12:30pm and 3p-11:30pm shifts. The pay will be $18 per hour like Merch Leads.
Wait until you see the shifts for the role. Rotating opening and closing 4 am and 3 pm.
No one in their right mind is gonna sign up.
When u say u signed for q new job code what exactly do u mean? Did u guys get a raise or did u just get a new job code
So what team will this Club Pickup Team Leader be leading?
Sorry but there is no more Club Pick Up as it is now “Merchandising “. All joking aside they really need to bring back a focus on “Club Pick Up” as the way it stands now it is a mess. “Merchandiser” are to pull orders ONLY while front end (use to be Membership) and carts are take out orders, load orders and dispense orders...that is what we were told when we signed our new job codes (for those who actually signed for their new job but that is another story for another thread.).
Now you see someone on the Merchandising team pulling orders (yes, someone, not plural as it should be) trying to keep up and from what we have heard it is not possible. Now they want a Club Pick Up Team Lead? Really? Sorry but get your stuff together and provide a atmosphere where your associates can take pride in their jobs, not getting by the work day by the seat of their pants while the members are the ones suffering (long lines as check out, product not stocked, orders not picked, membership lines out the door because only one associate at the desk...the list goes on and on).
This is sad and we are seeing good associates leaving.
I hope no s—ers take this for more than it’s true intention. A scapegoat to point fingers at when orders are incorrectly dispensed or late.
What are the specifics if this is true? Hours? Pay? Responsibilities.
What will be there responsibilities be beside club pick up?
Will they get same pay as MSL?
It very true but isn’t called club pick up lead lol. It’s called digital tools lead.
