Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Seriously, someone call John Taffer.

Maybe he can explain to Home Office why we need more than one POS at the desk.

Or why we need more than 4 cashier run registers.

Maybe he could explain why shoppers expect a real desk at a store, the same way bar patrons expect to find a counter at a bar.

But I expect Home Office won't pull back the doors, bust open the books, and make a call for help. They know everything and no one can tell them what to do. It's gonna be an epic fail.

And the one register at member services will be gone shortly. It will be replaced by a currency dispenser that remotely connects to the cash recycler. All transactions will be performed on the tablets, even cash....then the dispenser will release the bills & coins for the refund or change as needed.
