Hey I hope this post finds you all well... i see a lot of doomsday in this site when checking from time to time to see what the rumors are about. I think a lot of people misconstrue the intentions of what this business is about. We are living in a world where everything is becoming digital. This company is the number 1 company in the entire earth (fortune 1 out of the top 500) ... at the end of the day the biggest expense of any company is payroll... we have to pay a driver to ship it, a stocker to stock it ,a cashier to scan it, a cart guy to push it... it's an ever changing environment. A lot of people here are taking business personally. I think the people who weather the storm of change will flourish, the others might find a good job by working for a fortune 1 company... keep your heads up kids

In some states it is required for your employer to provide you with all tools of the trade. If they require you to use your phone and don't provide you with a device to do your job, they have to pay for it. Lawsuits are already in the works in 8 states against BYOD at Sam's Club.
Yep, they should pay us for the expense of using our phones for business. Why should I use my phone if they are not responsible for replacing it I lose it. Phones are not cheap, so stop telling me I need to use my personal phone for the benefit of this business.
I agree with everything that was but we need to have iPads that work, credit card readers to work and equipment to be able to do you job not BYOD that we pay for not Sams.
I think everything you spoke about is correct, But management needs to lead in a way that they bring you along in a respectful way. They should not talk down to you or think that they cant be wrong. Team includes everyone not just them. Also when they create a bonus that is one sided that makes it in there favor and impossible for you to reach. Then they are disrespecting there stocker,cashier,cart person and all other employ.To weather the storm you need good leaders to get you throw.This are all adults and if train right then they would be better adults but if train the wrong way then they are just going to create tyrants.We have enough of those in the world. Also if a fortune 500 company wants to go digital then they should not try to use there employ phones to do company work. Just saying.
