Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Black & Decker's "new" Craftsman products will never be sold in a Sears store.
Your SGM is wrong.

Lowe's isn't the only retailer carrying Craftsman. Menards has it as others do.

Actually OP he’s probably telling the truth- as anyone who actUally works at Sears knows, the “new craftsman” stuff is now available at Lowe’s, ace, menards, amazon and now probably sears. Probably the same reason we have all this Dewalt stuff coming in(easily confirmable on the website) as well as the Estwing products everyone’s seeing. Estwing replacing Vaughan seems like a good move for us.

Everything that has come in to replace the blowout sale stuff was in the “ultimate collection” black packaging.

Blowout sale is a way to get rid of c-ap to raise some cash before the liquidators can grab it.

Stupidity that tells tall tales.

Black and decker can sell to lowes,harbor freight and others. They own craftsman and why would they give sears or transformco credit with there history of non payment??

In our store we have little traffic in tools because we dont have help or the extras such as nails,bolts etc. Your sgm is either lying or clueless.

Lowes will not allow the same tools sold at these c-appy stores as it lowers the brand name. He or she is clueless about the tool program.

Estwing primary tool are hammers sold at home depot. Sad to say your getting nothing and your store will be closed. At this point both sears and k mart are to far behind the onlihe companies that offer pick up and shipping. No one goes to Sears or k mart for tools anymore its depot and lowes. Your blow out sales is probably a result of not wanting these items during liquidation. The current model of operating a small footprint of stores cannot last and tools need to be bought with nails,screws,and other items we dont have...........it is truely and finally over.
