I want the company to keep getting rid of reps and replacing the reps with FTOW.
I'm enjoying watching the company go downhill, and suck more and more everyday. Funny how the upper, upper management doesn't seem to notice, or maybe they don't care?
We went from being one of the best DSD companies to now one of the worst. Working here is now embarrassing.
Keep bringing in these clueless, careless, passion lacking, unenthusiastic, couldn't give AF FTOW, and you'll reap what you sow.

Didn't age well? I looked at the date of that post........right before that covid thing. Alot of things didn't age well the last couple years.
We are not going any where. Super territories are coming and we will obviously be adjusting routes and the way we work but dsd will remain.
This didn't age well. 2022 and SRs are still around. Keebler made this move and share jumped just in time to sell the company. Then sales and market share plummeted and the new owners lost a ton of money. Anyone paying attention would be a complete mo--n to follow that same model.
Then again, Mondelez keeps raising prices to meet numbers due to lower unit sales. Ummm....we are entering a recession after panic buying from a pandemic on top of free money being sent to the lower class. What the he'll did they think was going to happen. Market share is now dwindling due to two price increases in the same year. A smart company would take advantage of the lower incomes and drop their prices to sell more units and push the competition out. But after closing so many warehouses and production plants, there isn't anywhere to make or store enough extra product. We can't even manage to fill our basic products when unit sales are down as it is! Mondelez needs a desperate change at the top with someone/people who understand and can maneuver through these unprecedented times.
History shows that every time Mondelez does a “test” in an area, whatever they tested came to reality. It’s just a matter of time until DSD reps are let go. I’m surprised they are still around. Not only does this reduce expenditures, it will be done on behalf of the stockholders who want more of a ROI. And it eliminates more than sales reps and merchandisers, it eliminates truck drivers to every store. Now all they would have to do is ship directly to the customers’ warehouse and let the customer ship to its own stores. This procedure alone will boost the stock price almost immediately. It’s simple math.
Yep we just are notices in Virginia. Told next two weeks is when sales reps will know if they have a job or not. After 01/29/20.

They're just trying to get that final push out of everyone then the bottom falls out next year!!! DM and RMS are nonexistent!!
Wow, what area are you in that you can slack off like that??? In my area they are working some of us to death, and I do mean some. Others don't do anything, while some are on a chain gang. I have to do 1 1/2-2 people's jobs a day. Lots of order writes, merch hits, and loads. NO TIME to sit around doing nothing. Ideploy says it's a 6 hour day when it's really 10+. Just goes to show you how this company operates. Some don't do much, others have to do too much. Any question on the reasons for the failure of Mondelez, and why they are going warehouse? I think not!!!

I saw a gal taking a picture of a spice display. I asked her about her role. She takes pictures, and enters data. When DSD ends, and it will, that's what a few people will be doing. We're done, it's over, the only question is when. I'm so excited, I'm going to get my life and soul back soon!!!😁

That’s laughable! “Retailers don’t have time to stock nabisco products”. OMG! We are less than 5% of what’s already warehouse in their store! Come on now! Of course they do! Hire a couple of overnight clerks and boom!

For who? Not retailers! It sure is for Mondelez, they load the living crud out of stores to achieve sales objectives! Sure doesn’t help retailers, which is why retailers have been setting up to eliminate dsd.....-and Mondelez is next! EDI and CAO are being utilized for a good reason, and it’s not to continue dsd!! Figure it out!
People really need to quit overthinking things! DSD is ending! Why in the world would they have CAO and EDI in accounts? Yes, your boss is covering their butt, they don’t want people to exit before they are ready!

Just today boss told us some changes are coming, but DSD is here to stay according to the higher ups/headquarters. Someone asked if any reps will be losing their jobs, and he said no. But the managers lie constantly. I still think there is way too many red flags to believe there aren't MAJOR changes coming.
I had a Safeway store employee tell me today that Kehe/Jyve are throwing Nabisco and Frito Lay in the Seattle area. Can't verify if this is True. Last week the Kehe/Jyve employee told me they are throwing Frito Lay product in the Seattle area. Something is going on, but honestly, who knows what is true? I keep hoping info will slowly start trickling out.
May want to go back to where you got your info and ask again! No, we aren’t retaining the highest paid reps to merchandise, sores will do that themselves. We will lose a large number of SKU’s and then pay a slotting fee for the SKU’s we still carry in the sets. In and out will be kept on shippers which will come through warehouse as well! Mondelez isn’t a merchandising organization for goodness sakes, we are a selling organization, and when we can’t sell, we won’t! Not that hard! DSD is indeed ending, and has been! Retail is evolving and so are we! The profit isn’t in merchandising, it’s in incremental selling! Goodnight people!
Contracts between retailers and Mondelez are up in 2020. There will be changes. Mondelez will still deliver products because the retailers warehouses don’t have room for 250 slots to store Mondelez product. Sales force will be cut down where Mondelez employees will continue to merchandise the product. All high paid merchandisers (sales reps) will become merchandisers and will loose their company car. With stores writing orders Mondelez will not have to pay any type of bonus to field reps. I am hearing April of 2020 with HR holding conference calls end of February. Company is hoping with the ending of the pension many long term employees will retire to help with eliminating employee layoffs.

Retailers have been planning the exit from dsd for years! Kroger has had this in their forecast for years, to eliminate dsd! Absolutely no other reason for EDI and CAO except to prepare to go warehouse! All warehouse companies are EDI. So hard to imagine people believe the excuses being thrown out!
All of this time frame of DSD ending makes sense. Let's not forget the pension accrument will be frozen on 12/31/2019. No more money put into the pension. They gave a 10 year notice of the pension enfing. Sounds like they are getting all of their ducks in a row to oust field sales and merchandisers.

Merchandisers and reps will be gone in early 2020! Been the timeline I’ve said all along! Likely everyone gone at the same time! They can cut merchandisers hours....not reps!

Totally agree on the RMS comments. The girl in our area doesn’t even take care of the coaching of PTSR’s or FTSR’s. The DM handles all the SR’s and merchandisers, and the RMS sits on her computer ALL day and the RDR lets them get away with it!! Talk about a waste of money!! That RDR also never leaves her home so none of us are surprised. It drives all of us nuts that they want to cut us, the people in the field instead of the RMS and even some of the DMs that just sit at lunch or in their “home offices” all day long.
RMS role is a joke. My RMS never comes out of the office. When he does come out he spends about 10 minutes with me telling me how wrong I do things. DSD here to stay lol. My RMS needs to go back where he came from and stop kissing the Regional Directors a–. She likes him so he is the angel boy.
Glad none of these Kroger changes affects my team. Be more for me to do. Haven’t received a phone call or seen my sales rep in months. I get a text with instructions. He hasn’t been to a couple of stores in months
