Layoffs Update (September 2019)

Bill Valle (CEO FMCNA) sent a memo that a purge is in the process, numbers need to improve, we need to do this, we need to get better, efficiency, etc. He noted that this is just start of the process, so rest assured there will be more layoffs.

For those who do not work here but keep checking the page for news, you may want to get ready to visit more often as things will get worse. It’s a zoo and things are about to get worse – if you are staff at FKC, good luck – you will need it – the execs are on fire and things will move – more will lose jobs. I am sorry for the staff at FKC as they really gave everything they had for their patients and this company….

Treat employees like c-ap and they will return the favor. Treat them well and your company will thrive. Upper management and above are such egotistical asses that they can't pick this up (or are just evil incarnate, ex. Steve N.). In an industry where the smallest mistakes can cost them hundreds of thousands, you think they would treat their employees with more respect! (Former Fresenius Kabi employee, left FK of their own volition).

Well they started axing people at fresenius kabi production streile injectables sector. All contractors axed 2 weeks ago. Thought it was over lol not even... sunday they axed full timers too.
Massive cost cutting coming welcome to 2009 again.

Don't quit and wait to see if you get fired? That's probably one of the worst pieces of advice I've ever heard. I assure you that you are far more employable when you are EMPLOYED. I would not only RUN, I'd leave SKIDMARKS. Seems like a sinking ship, with some of the most mis-directed directors in the business. In order to "fix" things, purge middle-upper management, listen to your employees and patients, and fix the things that need fixing. Until that happens, I wouldn't be sitting around listening to the violin players as the ship goes down.

Don't quit and wait to see how this will play out.

Fresenius is going through a transformation that may or may not pan out. Meanwhile, if you have particular skills and Fresenius is willing to compensate you justly for those skills - and so long as you are afforded opportunities to enhance your skill set or find satisfaction in some other esoteric fashion at the company... why not stay?

Employment is a roll of the dice no matter who you work for, this includes Fresenius . Read the table as best you can and be mentally prepared for being up and down.
