I work part time in the business office..... i'm not a Lead, I am the only one trained in the office.... been in office over 10 years, my position has been eliminated and I've been told its my responsibility to train the supervisors/managers for my position, I have pleaded with Managers about position, and why would I train others to take my job, so my question is, Is there anyone out there that is in a simular situation?

By business office, do you mean accounting?
Same thing happened. Told my GM I'm not training a Supervisor who should have already known how to do it. He told me "you will train them because when you are work I need to do whatever they ask for the hours Im here. Ha ha. What I cant believe is that not 1 mgr knows how to do anything. They just hire any id–t for Mgrs. All garbage. Dont follow any policies until they get caught. Sam's ...wanna save money get 4id of mgmt. Your associates run the club anyway
Whoa...your club is way far behind! This happened a year ago.
I was sent to another club to learn the "business office". I got 2 weeks off put up in a hotel, all my meals paid for, mileage, and overtime. Best paycheck ever.
If you don't want to train them, train them incorrectly. Or leave out vital steps. Then they can reach out to another club, the way they always told us. No one ever wants to help, they just push you off onto someone else.
Eff that. I wouldn't train my replacement even at the risk of my employment.
Train them do you think they really wanna do it. Don’t punish the coworkers
Our business office associates were displaced over a year ago.
I thought all the stores did this a couple years ago?
