Kroger should go to the Layton, Utah Distribution Center. They're extremely top-heavy in salaried Middle Management, all of whom receive bonus checks, along with a healthy salary. You might even say they're grossly overpaid. The Loaders, Order Fillers, Maintenance Personnel, and Reach Operators are all on a computerized labor system that instructs them of their tasks, and tracks their productivity levels, which dictates their hourly pay rates. If Kroger wants to reduce operating costs, that's the first place they should look.
Are they giving severance packages?
Kroger/Smith's laid off so many good people and left the sh–ty ones. Such a great company!! Not. I hope the CEO drowns in all that money hes swimming in
Heard they are doing again next year. Nobody is safe. People need to get out while you can. Start looking now before it's too late. I'm going back home. They let me keep my job but I'm going to put my weeks notice in a month. Cant stay with a company I dont believe in anymore.
Salary management
