Any word on additional layoffs at RT?
Just my thoughts but instead of picking on unproductive managers such as 'el poli de centro comerciales' / 'reina del chisme' we should probably look into how we can make this company better. Some of us still have stock and its a shame where the price is. So, let these puppets do their thing and lets focus on the bigger picture and that is making this company better and try to avoid things such as walking systems being cancelled.

NOV Rig is again at the bottom of the three segments for earnings. Also, have you noticed that there are no mention of any significant Rig orders in Q3. This is because there are NONE. The Englishman and his peasants better be watching their backs as his “Top Sales” team is not on top. Better figure a way out to Install windmills and solar panels on those land rigs your trying to sale. Everyone can thank us aftermarket guys carrying the team.

More layoffs are coming today at the Tower. I have a whistle blower tell me today is another round. Bookings are looking really bad for Rig and the only way is to cut heads to get to the numbers “Mr. Personality” needs to show Parkwood. Rumor cuts are coming from the 23rd floor, inside Sales and PLMs. Don’t need IS or PLMs If no products are being sold.
I saw a guy you all know walking the halls at the tower the other day, you know it’s not “Galleria Guard” because he was walking around not riding on his Segway. Everyone always worrying about the Security Guard but the Englishman has another group everyone has totally forgot about. It’s the BD group. Led by of course another Englishman. He has a couple guys on his team i wish I could know what they actually do. One of them especially, he’s not too well liked by his peers. How is this Sqerm still around. This guy is a big waste of head count. All other groups have to lay people off and purge heads but this group does not and they do less than any other group. Again, favorites stay around and get promoted.
Reminds me of a former Group President, now a CEO with a major drilling contractor, that once said the CMO is good at what he does, but we also need people that actually work in the company lol. That has never been more true today. He is worthless traveling the world and putting up irrelevant social media posts and has always gotten away with it. Similar to Malls, they have somehow convinced their bosses they are good at what they do.
What 3 VPs got a promotion? Agree there was no need to split the group. They just don't know what they're doing and it shows. RT is the worst business group now, its embarrassing. Our CEO is only concerned about him and his personal elves. They are crashing and burning.
