EVSP Canvass

Frontier put out a "soft" canvass in CT to see what job titles and how many people would take an EVSP.

I heard a rep called out this useless supervisor to fight outside! He declined obviously.

FL management is some of the worst. It’s full of do nothing GTE holdovers and reps who couldn’t cut it on the phones but kissed mgmt booty well enough to get off of them. Two or three actually know what they are doing and that is probably generous at this point. The rest are just taking up space. If you ask them to do something or move something up the chain to be fixed you can be certain they will not come through. Everything is lip service. And they think we are stupid when they pretend to care or say they will do something. They try so hard to be noticed by upper mgmt just hoping they will be saved when the ship finally sinks. If they were let go tomorrow the center would keep on going without missing a beat. They are so clueless they are targeting their own top sales reps with pointless investigations and now suspensions. Several have quit. Another just walked out yesterday on the spot.

You cannot trust ANYTHING management tells you. The clowns left in Florida are gifted in all manner of deception, division, and disruption. If you’re waiting around for a buyout, take this advice. Get up, take pride in yourself and what you could offer a different employer, and walk yourself right out the front door. Get on with your lives and don’t look back.

What does your VSP look like for CT (per your contract)?

More likely its because they want to weed out the people who don't want to be here. Now they will have employee names from the "soft canvass", and target them for disciplinary action, as well as, dismissals. All this during the long months ahead of contract negotiations. They are also asking you to sign forms stating you agree with your disciplinary actions, and you will not file any union grievance. Don't ever think they are doing something for you, unless they are getting something out of it.
