I thought ASMs made more than that
they used to be salary, for less than 40k a year
They’ll probably just get a bump in the hourly pay
I think all the stores in my district will be losing 2 ASMs
Supposedly Kroger nationwide is getting rid of 1 ASM per store, saving them 50-60k per person. That’s millions off their bottom line.
Also they’re discussing whether to make Dept Heads the new “Co Managers” and make them salary pay
can someone post the letter for the rest of us (I left in 2018)

If they make the Dept heads salary though, we’ll be expected to do ASM things as well, which s—s, so 2 jobs in 1 with no OT benefit...
When they make dept heads “co managers” do they do anything to the back-ups of those departments?
I heard the Unit Managers were offered or are going to offered buyouts and were not let go...
And most will take it because losing at least 1 ASM means more work for them now...
