I heard that 300 jobs were eliminated. Social Work, Insurance Coordinators, Quality and a few more supporting positions... but not based on performance. It is a strategic financial decision that has everyone on the edge of their seats. I am very sorry to those of you who were already affected and I pray for the rest of the employees at risk. Since there is a hiring freeze, nobody that was let go can even apply for remaining positions. If you look up the Fresenius payouts on the dept of justice site it may give you some insight into the problem. Looks like old practices are finally catching up with them. As long as the DPC staff continue to put patients first, we can all sleep soundly.
