You also responded with a sentence fragment and began your sentence with "But", which you should know from freshman comp is improper English.

I should have quite an advantage over all of these railroaders that don’t have a basic education and rage on about being victims. That’s called disparity.

A basic level of education does not give you competitive advantage. It gives you competitive parity. Good luck landing that top job because you know English 101. I’m sure they’ll be real impressed you can read.

Education is a competitive advantage. To say it’s not is foolish. There is not parity.

But it does validate the writing level of so many employees that are at risk.

The best way to get through the day at UP is to find another job. That worked for me and it has also worked for many others.

To the grammar cops: get over yourselves. A few minor grammatical mistakes do not in themselves invalidate a point of discussion.

Drop the hate. This is just another cog in the machine to divide our brothers and sisters.

Who's the English teacher? If your so good at identifying grammar mistakes quit your day job and go be a teacher.

In the opening paragraph, it’s “their” not “there”.
In item #6, it’s “they’re” not “there”.
I would also add that if your vocabulary or spelling skills are insufficient, you might consider taking elementary education classes before you apply for your next job.
