Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Favoritism

This runs rampant in Lowe’s Land. Associates are late everyday and call out constantly. Instead of being held accountable, they are promoted to supervisor (and above) positions. Yet with others (the non butt kissers), they are held accountable according to policy every time.

Lowe’s should audit the past year in terms of scheduling. It will be blatantly obvious who the favorites are. As for the others who are on documentation, that slate should be wiped clean to make sure things are fair and consistent.

At my store, I watched a cashier, a cashier get the backend supervisor position. This cashier had a horrible attendance record. Had us all wondering how and why.

Yes!!! Some managers dont even try to hide it. Everyone knows who they are in your stores, I can only hope that all Lowes are not like that, Over the years I have been with Lowes, I have seen managers correct clock in times for being late and correcting peoples late lunch clock ins, while submitting corrective action to HR, (when they were still in stores). I used the "employee hotline" to report and was told nothing came of the investigation. I have seen managers promote people they are romantically involved with, I have seen abrupt schedule changes to accommodate favorites by management. I have no faith with the new scheduling coming out. We have full time CSA's on fixed schedules. one has a 7-4. We have a cashier classified as part time, but works Monday through Friday 8-5. We have a full time Millwork Specialist that never works on Sundays, UNAVAILABLE on his schedule every week. And why would a CSA be allowed in Monday manager meetings? I have worked at places that were a bit toxic and there was favoritism, but Lowes takes the cake. No one hides it. The new scheduling wont change for the manager favorites. Ill be shocked if it does.
