Retail is only going to get worse and not better with all of the automation raising the bar for human equivalents. If I were to offer a suggestion it’d be to work towards a skill not at risk! Not sure what to do, almost 40, may be too late for a career change. I was thinking something in the healthcare field, probably the least impacted by AI and automation, it'll probably take me 3 to 4 years to do the transition and graduate...
