I remember that $300.00 payout for referrals of new employees. Based on my current pay rate the new bonus is about 1/4 of the $300.00.
Way back at Lowes when I started there was a similar payout for recommendations.
Lowe's would pay you 300.00 if your recommendation stayed for 90 days. Well, the person I recommended stayed close to 10 years. It wasn't long after the initial 90 days they sc-apped the incentative and I never got paid the 300.00. I technically was grandfathered in, but still I never received my payout...sad!
