Lunches are not required under Lowe’s meal policy, just provided for. The wordage of the policy just covers Lowe’s behind for governmental labor regulations. Technically, you don’t HAVE to take lunch if you so desire. But they will probably terminate you for not doing so because they will likely use the “we got lots of high paid lawyers and it will cost you lots of money to fight it” speech which tends to scare people into doing what they want. Seen it done before in other arenas. Its the ”We’re smart and rich and you’re not” attitude.
Truly ignorant to operate the store on a customer eccentric platform, yet tell an associate they have to take a lunch at a specific time. Excuse me sir, yes I know you need this mulch loaded but, I gotta go to lunch. I'm not get fired for your mulch. Customer complaint anyone? If Lowes could contradict themselves anymore that would help. Cant wait for the employee opinion survey.

Yeah Kronos has scheduled lunches for as long as I’ve worked for Lowe’s. It doesn’t usually provide good coverage so most folks don’t use it.

Doesn’t it calculate is you took too long or too short a lunch ? The same 6 minute rule apply ?
They have been for years now. And for years I've ignored it because it doesn't know or care about coverage.
The new schedule and attendance doesn't affect when you take your lunch, only that you don't go over time.
