Per Omaha their goal is to cut TE&Y by 40% to 50%. 1 man crew combined with Eng/Con yard jobs, longer trains, less trains, combined trains, longer road runs etc., are just a few goal implementing techniques. Get your resumes boys and girls.

Well I just got off work I see the company boys are on here spreading the fear. I guess when your off on the weekends what else ya got to do. One should probably worry about their own job and not the one of the guy about to lose his. So you come one here an what rub it in? All I can say is KARMA that’s what you have coming to you. Most of us TE@Y people are good people just trying to get by and provide for our families just like all other railroaders. Other department envy our pay but most wouldn’t want to live our lifestyle. Times like these we should be a little more compassionate towards our fellow railroaders instead of wishing them the worst. Maybe you can go to church next Sunday and have them pray for you it sounds like you need it OP!
