100% of executives being cut

Apparently there are several executives with degrees from diploma mills that haven’t been fired yet. Word at the last board meeting is they are trying to cut the rest that they haven’t sent packing already. Bad news is they didn’t realize just how many they had with these types of degrees. Will there be anyone left?

Actually, Lance has an MBA from Northwestern, which is a top five business school. Not to defend him, but Fortune 500, top consulting firms, and Wall Street can be very selective, and when they are, they’ll take someone from Northwestern in a heartbeat (Kellogg School of Management).

There have been VPs that had degrees they paid a flat fee for and never attended a single class online or in person.

In fairness, most of the execs have at least a bachelor's degree from a legitimate (public, accredited) school, although it may not be any school that anyone has ever heard of, and probably somewhere down on the third tier of the institutional hierarchy. None of them who have profiles on the UP site have qualifications from first tier or even the better second tier schools, and some are in positions that have nothing to do with their qualifications.

When you compare the UP executive line-up to those of other F500 companies, they look mediocre, with a few notable exceptions.
