Is it just me, or has job security become a thing of the past at Optum? How many layoffs did we have this year so far? And we are still expecting to see even more.
I'm wondering if we'll ever again be in a position in which we don't have to worry about layoffs all the time.
Ther is no job security in an company/industry. This is the new norm for this country.
Left last year with the buyout. So glad I did. Knew this was going to happen. Seventy percent of I.T will be offshored before they are done. Teaching college full-time now. Like it so much better. Make 3/4 of the pay but work much less. Really good life. Never would go back to any corporation. Ever!
